We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was impeccable, with immaculate toilet and bath facilities. The hotel facilities were great, with all rooms having a balcony and a view. The location of the hotel is great for skiers and hikers. Right at the base of the Gondola...great views also.

The room was a bit dreary - and dark. However, our goal was not to hang out in a hotel room with the mountains outside your door.

Small elevator. Not so many places to park the car in front of the hotel. There is a possibility to park the car about 500 metres away in an other street. The infrared wasnot working in the Spa

dinner at the restaurant was limited to guests with halfboard accomodation. breakfast buffet was probably created for vegetarians: no sausages and poor offer of bacon/wurst, on the other side an amazing dominance of different kinds of müsli.

I've always received a warm welcome and good hospitality when I've stayed at this hotel. Igls is located approximately 5 km from Innsbruck and frequent bus services are available just across the road from this hotel. An hourly tram from Igls takes a scenic route to Innsbruck. The cable-car station to Patscherkofel mountain is opposite to the hotel. The hotel has adequate leisure facilities and spacious public rooms with an additional sitting room on the first floor with panoramic views. Brightly- decorated bedrooms are south-facing with balconies enjoying views of the mountains. The bottle of water in the bedroom on arrival was very welcome. The hotel owner is always welcoming and has good linguistic competences. Catering in the hotel restaurant for breakfast and evening meal was commendable.

The reception of tv is poor, and there is no Wi-Fi. The one in the lobby doesn't work at all.The rooms vary a great deal: in the renovated part, they are excellent. In the old part, they are good, but the bathrooms are extremely inconvenient. The management, however, is very understanding and cooperative, and if situation permits, they do their best to accommodate. Therefore, the comfort does depend on what type of rooms one gets.

They refused to serve us dinner at 815pm

The room was very large and spacious.

When we arrived at 6pm we went for a swim before showering and going down to the restaurant at about 7.10pm. However, as we had not "booked" what we wanted to eat at dinner time in the morning they could not accommodate the 3 of us as they had "run out" of food. How could we "book" our meal if we did not arrive until 6pm that evening??!!!! We were "able" to have some breakfast the following morning but the rolls were quite stale and the cheese and ham on offer looked as though it had been there for a long time before we got there at 7.30am.
